Day 25 → The reason you believe you’re still alive today.

AHHHHH!!! I am still 3 posts behind!! #catchup

Well, I think to make a difference in women’s lives. I want to be able to provide a birthing experience where the focus is on the mother and what she wants, and not something along the lines of a doctor saying lets schedule the c-section for the ______. Because it is more convenient for me, you know?
(Would anyone even come to me to deliver their baby?!)

I think I am alive today to also help women in impoverished countries. A lady said to me, that it is not always necessary to go to an impoverished place like Kenya, because there are so many women here who need my help. This is true, but I also feel that there is more being done here and less being done there. And to tour a little bit, and bring my camera along to bring their plight to light 🙂

And lastly, because I need to one day make beautiful children myself 🙂 And pass on my legacy…

Day 01 → Something you hate about yourself
Day 02 → Something you love about yourself
Day 03 → Something you have to forgive yourself for.
Day 04 → Something you have to forgive someone for.
Day 05 → Something you hope to do in your life.
Day 06 → Something you hope you never have to do.
Day 07 → Someone who has made your life worth living for.
Day 08 → Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit.
Day 09 → Someone you didn’t want to let go, but just drifted.

Day 22 → Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.
Day 23 → Something you wish you had done in your life.
Day 24 → Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)
Day 25 → The reason you believe you’re still alive today.
Day 26 → Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?
Day 27 → What’s the best thing going for you right now?

Day 29 → Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.

  1. To me, it really makes no difference whether you’re helping in Kenya or here in SA – the sad truth is that there are thousands – millions! – of women in both countries and many others who don’t have access to decent healthcare during their pregnancies and births.
I’m sure you’ll make a great nurse and midwife and the help and support you can offer such women will be deeply appreciated.
